CorneL was born in Chisinau (Moldova), the city that has probably the most beautiful girls of all the country. Music has been the biggest passion in CorneL`s life and has always felt the need to share that passion with other people. CorneL DJ, recounts old when he used to sit in front of a radio stereo set to listen to his favorite radio shows where they were presenting the best dance hits. He used to spend hours after middle school inside of his bedroom, listening to other DJs spinning dance music. Many nights without going to bed or till early morning with his headphones on the head in order not to wake up mom and dad in the other room. So headphones have been his best friend.

After a couple of years of listening to radios and different types of music, and by recording it on tapes, and with clear ideas that music was his passion, he decided to show off in different projects in his hometown.

“For me, DJing isn’t just putting on one record after the other.” Due to technical evolution the role of the DJ has changed more and more to being an entertainer and performer.

His mixing style reflects his approach towards music and production: “Diversified, but consistent with a concept.”

Combining different styles of electronic music from all over the world in order to conceive a coherent, danceable sound – that’s how CorneL describes his method of operation.

That’s why CorneL doesn’t stuff his case with music from only one style but with a rich variety of records from Club House via Electro to rather tech-housy, progressive sounds. That implies not to follow an already falling trend yet to trace current sounds and having tomorrow’s sounds already in his DJ case.

CorneL is constantly playing impressive shows around the globe as well as big venues like the Sunset Vibes / Body Art (Moldova), MIDI-nights / Wild out Saturdays (Kenya), Neuropunk / Myaso-Party (Russia), etc.
